Every year, we strive to expand and improve Rucker Park Prep, a basketball tournament aimed at benefiting the youth. This summer, we're taking it up a notch as we host two divisions, featuring some of the tri-state area and Philadelphia finest young athletes. In a relatively short span of time, Rucker Park Prep has gained a reputation as a premier basketball tournament in New York, attracting participants from all over. 

 

Each game has referees, a DJ, and announcer and oft times featured entertainment. Our previous sponsors include Def Jam recordings, Universal music group, Mount Hope Community Center, and Each one teach one.  Winners receive first and second-place trophies across all divisions, cultivating a healthy spirit of competition. Our objective is to teach basketball fundamentals and valuable life lessons, including teamwork, sportsmanship, and self-confidence.
